Elizabeth Strianese

The interiors designed by Elizabeth Strianese have been described as, "warm, elegant, family friendly spaces with a contemporary and sensible twist". Her favorite client is one who enjoys and appreciates beautiful things, but isn't quite sure how to put them together on his/her own. Client's often remark on her "efficient and organized" approach to design. The plan is to make a beautiful and interesting home that can be enjoyed by everyone in the family, in a timely and cost conscious manner. A constant and diligent nod to "green" design is also an integral part of her discipline.

In addition to having 20 years of design and construction management experience, Liz has worked for possibly the most important international interior designer in the later part of the 20th century – Juan Montoya. She has also worked for Peter Maase, a well known NYC based interior designer. The experiences of working for iconoclastic firms, and the sensibility of knowing the do's and don'ts of construction have merged in Liz and allowed her to make timeless and eclectic interiors in the most effective way. A testimony to this are the exuberant references available from previous clients.

Elizabeth's firm is located on Main Street in Beacon NY, where she is a member of the local planning board and architectural review committee. She serves the greater New York metropolitan area, including Riverdale, Greenwich, Garrison, Beacon, Millbrook, and northern New Jersey.

Her work has been published in Italian Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Inspired House, Martha Stewart Living, Retailing Today, and The New York Times.

She lives in Beacon, NY with her husband Tom and baby daughter Edie.
